I MURDERED THE PTA is the story of a rock-and-roll mom trying to live an uncomplicated life in the 'burbs when she's caught in the middle of an explosion that shakes her uptight community to its very foundation.  

No PTA members were harmed during the writing of this book.

I MURDERED THE PTA received an Honorable Mention in the 13th Annual Writer's Network Screenplay & Fiction Competition and was a TOP FIVE finalist out of 900 entries in Court TV's 2006/2007 Search for the Next Great Crime Writer. It was published June 2011 by Zumaya Publications under its Enigma imprint.

I MURDERED THE PTA was a Zumaya Publications TOP SELLER in August 2011.

The Cupcake Bakers Association ran a blog post about I MURDERED THE PTA and its cupcake-motif book cover.

Special thanks to Locals Only radio host Kelli McKay, who interviewed Wendy on KVTA, and to Bo Jaxon, who had Wendy as a guest on his morning radio show on B95.1.

October 13, 2011 was a wonderful evening under the stars when Wendy signed books at a private home as part of a fundraiser for the Loving Heart Hospice Foundation.
